02-11-03 - Patch v1.16a online
We are sorry for the inconvenience and trouble patch v1.16 may has caused. But due to Arkane's efforts we already fixed the bug that got triggered by patch 1.16 with an akbaa stone in akbaa temple.
The updated patch v1.16a is now available.

02-07-03 - Arx Fatalis Patch v1.16 online
The update to v1.16 of Arx Fatalis is now available.
With the help of the Arx Fatalis community in the official AF forum, Arkane Studios fixed some bugs and logical errors. Arkane Studios and JoWooD would like to thank all the members of the forum for the feedback we receive.
Arx Fatalis Patch v1.16 Fixlist:
- Fixed a bug with Pog and stealing the Troll Idol
- Fixed a bug with Alia not telling the right dialogue after the final cinematic
- After the Ylsides Invasion, the door in front of Maria Shop is now unlocked
- When Alotar opens the reserve, you won't have to talk to the goblin lord to get the door opened
- When Alia is rescued, a cross is added on the mini map to know where to meet her later
- Fixed a bug with the bridge in the Akbaa Temple
- Hero won't say "Not Now" anymore when trying to give the papers to Polsius in the Tavern
- Fixed a bug with the poisoned pasta & the goblin cook
- Miguel shop chests are now reset & refilled on reload
- Fixed a bug with chicken drumsticks
- Hitting the Meteor now also triggers the cinematic
- Fixed the dwarf forge
- The troll guarding the bridge (Level 3) has been moved near the stairs
- Weapons/Armors enchantment has been re-designed
- Fixed a bug with frozen objects script
- Friendly NPC's won't turn back to you anymore when bumping them from behind
- Cur0001 directory is now deleted when launching the game
- Fixed a bug with Carlo and the Queen Florence Plot
- Kultar stats have been lowered (During Ylside Invasion)
- Fixed a bug at the end of Kultar Cinematic (During Ylside Invasion)
- Added a gore flag in the cfg.ini file.

12-17-02 - Updated patch v1.15 online
Patch v1.15 is now available as an updated version.
Players reported that Kultar attacks you in the castle, if you did not free him from the prison at the beginning of the game. The player stays stuck because the sewers don't open.
This is fixed with the updated patch v1.15.
The filesize of the patch is 3.2 MB and available for the english, french, german and italian version of AF.

12-02-02 - Arx Fatalis voice actors going crazy & more
Stygian Abyss, a dedicated Arx Fatalis fansite, has received a pair of goofy mp3s featuring some of the Arx Fatalis voice actors acting pretty funny. Try them out, they are quite funny.

RPGDot.com is reporting that Arkane Studios' Julien Roby revealed some secret runes of AF magic system. Those spells are kind of powerfull :)

11-22-02 - Patch v1.15 online
The community has asked for an On Screen minimap option. This is being implemented with this update.
Other updates included are the optimisation of the savegame/level loading times.
Update v1.15 will also fix the "Tavern Bug" (which has been triggered by the patch 1.14) in addition to some other quest stuff.

This is the final release date for the UK.

10-31-02 - Patch v1.14 announcement
Patch v1.14 will be online friday, November 1st 2002 at 3 pm CET .
It will fix the lastest known bugs as for example:
* Fixes a bug making the game not even launch
* Savegame slots are now correctly displayed
* Fixes a crash with EAX/DirectX 8 sound card incompatibility
